abstract = "The optical measurement data constitute a source of very important
information for the astronomy. Such measurements is fundamental to
classify stars and galaxies. This work describes the algorithm to
design decision trees (J4.8 algorithm). The classifiers were
employed to the astronomical data from the project Sloan Digital
Sky Survey (SDSS). The performance for the best classifiers for
the test set was greater than 98% for stars classification, and
greater than 99% for galaxies classification.",
